KE-131-U is a non-corrosive, inert silicone rubber by Shin-Etsu. It contains 2.0 of C-8 curing agent added to 100 parts of compound. Exhibits low hardness, high elongation, releasability, good chemical stability, thermal- and electrical conductivity. Offers good electrical insulation, weatherability, vibration absorption, tear- and tensile strength. Also offers low modulus, good gas- and vapor permeability. Provides superior heat-, cold-, flex fatigue-, radiation-, compression- and oil. Also provides solvent-, moisture-, steam- and chemical resistance. KE-131-U is used in baby nipples and is suitable for processing by compression molding.
