KE-186-U is a super low temperature silicone rubber by Shin-Etsu. It contains 0.7 of C-23N curing agent added to 100 parts of compound. It is a non-corrosive and inert grade and exhibits good colorability, good chemical stability, electrical insulation, weatherability, tear- and tensile strength. Offers good thermal- & electrical conductivity, low loss modulus, good vibration absorption, gas and vapor permeability. Provides superior heat-, flex fatigue-, radiation-, compression-, oil- and solvent resistance. Also provides resistance to moisture, steam and chemical. KE-186-U is suitable for processing by compression molding. Used in gaskets for cooling washers and refrigerators.
