KE-541U

KE-541-U is a general purpose silicone rubber by Shin-Etsu, containing 1.0 of C-23N and 0.5/2.0 of C-25A/B curing agent added to 100 parts of compound. It is highly transparent, non-corrosive, inert and can be easily colored with pigments. Shows releasability, good chemical stability, electrical insulation and good weatherability. Offers thermal- & electrical conductivity, tear- & tensile strength, gas & vapor permeability, low loss modulus and vibration absorption. Provides superior heat-, cold-, flex fatigue-, radiation-, compression-, oil-, solvent-, moisture-, steam- and chemical resistance. KE-541-U is suitable for processing by extrusion and compression moldng. Used in tubes for beverages. Meets FDA and BfR.
