SEP-1731-U is a silicone modified ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) by Shin-Etsu, containing 4.0/0.2 of C-12/SEP-BM curing agent. Provides sponge foaming, durability and high mechanical- & tear strength above 100°C. Shows heat-, weather-, chlorine-, steam-, hot water-, alkali-, acid- and low temperature resistance. SEP-1731-U is suitable for processing by extrusion and compression moldng. Used in rubber parts like plug boots.
