MERICAN® 9709

MERICAN® 9709 by Sino Polymer is an orthophthalic-based unsaturated polyester resin. It can be cured using 1.5% Butanox M-50(AKZO Nobel) and 1.0% CoNap (0.8% Cobalt). Offers excellent mechanical properties and higher elongation. Shows good weather resistance when UV inhibitor is added. Suitable for processing by filament winding, pultrusion, spray-up and hand lay-up. Designed for tanks, pipes, fishing boat, marine/yacht, life boat, glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced plastic products. MERICAN® 9709 conforms to Lloyd's approval and FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.2420. It has a shelf life of 6 months at temperature <25°C.
