Tecnoflon® PL 958

Tecnoflon® PL 958 by Solvay is a low temperature, peroxide curable, fluoroelastomer (FKM) grade. Exhibits excellent resistance to chemical, steam, rapid gas decompression and sour gases (hydrogen sulphide mixtures). Possesses low temperature flexibility, excellent processability, very short post-curing cycles and low post cure. Offers excellent mold flow, lack of mold fouling, low volume swell in methanol-based fuels and excellent mold release. Shows solubility with ketones and esters. It can be mixed with two roll mills or internal mixers. It can be processed by compression molding, extrusion, injection molding, calendaring and transfer molding. Tecnoflon® PL 958 is recommended for O-rings, seals, gaskets, hoses, profiles, sheet stocks and belting applications.
