Tecnoflon® VPL 85540

Tecnoflon® VPL 85540 by Solvay is a very low temperature, medium viscosity, peroxide curable, fluoroelastomer (FKM) grade. Exhibits excellent resistance to steam, rapid gas decompression, sour gases (hydrogen sulphide mixtures) and chemical. Possesses low temperature flexibility, excellent processability, excellent mechanical properties, very short post-curing cycles and low post cure. Offers excellent mold flow, lack of mold fouling and excellent mold release. Shows solubility with ketones and esters. It can be mixed with two roll mills or internal mixers. It can be processed by compression molding, extrusion, injection molding, calendaring and transfer molding. Tecnoflon® VPL 85540 is recommended for seals, hoses, profiles, sheet stocks and belting applications.
