Tecnoflon® VPL X75545 by Solvay is a very low temperature, peroxide curable, fluoroelastomer (FKM) grade. Exhibits excellent resistance to steam, rapid gas decompression, sour gases (hydrogen sulphide mixtures) and chemical in fuels, oils, acids, alcohols & strong oxidizers. Possesses low temperature flexibility, long term sealing force and excellent compression set. Shows solubility with ketones and esters. It can be mixed with two roll mills or internal mixers. It can be processed by compression molding, extrusion, injection molding, calendaring and transfer molding. Tecnoflon® VPL X75545 is recommended for O-rings, gaskets, hoses, profiles, sheet stocks and belting applications. Used in aerospace seals, automotive elastomeric parts which require low temperature sealing like CNG & LPG systems and oil drilling in cold environments.
