Durez 17983 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a water soluble, one-step, phenol formaldehyde liquid resin. Can self-emulsify when its water tolerance is exceeded. Improves strength and moisture resistance. Suitable for both direct treating and better addition processes. Recommended for treating paper, wood and organic and inorganic fibres. Durez 17983 shelf life is 2 months.
