Durez® P23983 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a an epoxy modified, phenolic resin. It is soluble in isopropyl alcohol. Imparts better strength retention at elevated temperatures than pure phenolic resins. Provides stronger glass-to-glass bonds and good heat resistance. Designed for use in structural laminates and moldings. Conforms to Military Specification MIL-R-9299C, Grade A Classification. Durez® P23983 has a shelf life of 6 months.
