Methylon® 75108

Methylon® 75108 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a coating intermediate containing a mixture of the allyl ethers of mono-, di-, and trimethylol phenols. It exhibits good toughness & excellent adhesion to metals including iron, steel, copper, brass, aluminum, magnesium, glass and many plastics. It provides outstanding resistance to alkalis, acids, soaps, detergents, solvents, salts, oxidizing agents, salt spray, mar and other corrosive materials. It offers resistance to chemicals, heat, humidity, impact and abrasion. It is recommended for coatings & linings for containers, chemical processing or handling equipment. Other applications include drum, pail & can linings, food containers, tank cars, air conditioning equipment and water tanks. Methylon® 75108 can also be used in appliances, chemical tanks and metal goods.
