PLYOPHEN® 43243 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive, liquid one-step phenolic resin. It is soluble in isopropyl alcohol. Designed for both high and low pressure laminating processes employing glass fabrics and other inorganic reinforcing agents. It can produce pre-impregnated materials & laminates suitable for vacuum-bag molding at 10-14 psi, press molding at 1800 psi and matched-metal die molding at even higher pressures. Laminates produced with PLYOPHEN® 43243 exhibits exceptionally high temperature resistance.
