SUMILITERESIN® PR-2217 I by Sumitomo Bakelite is a bis-phenol A modified novolac-type phenolic resin containing 15% hexamine content. Exhibits low molecule number, low-free phenol monomer in order to get high strength, low thermal expansion and low gas volume. SUMILITERESIN® PR-2217 I is suitable to be used with foundry and resin coated sand applications.
