Varcum® 29112 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a one-step crushed phenolic resin. It is soluble in esters, ketones, higher alcohols and aromatic hydrocarbon-alcohol mixtures. Shows limited solubility in lower alcohols and is insoluble in aromatic hydrocarbons. Varcum® 29112 exhibits sufficient flexibility without the addition of modifiers.
