Varcum® 29317

Varcum® 29317 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a fast gel, short flow, unmodified, high-condensation, two-step phenolic resin. Exhibits fast oven cycles, limited amount of wetting agent, high-bond content and good strength. Reduces problems of volatile evolution in fast temperature rise cycles. Imparts good resistance to wheel deterioration, heat and solvents. It is soluble in lower alcohols, ketones & esters and insoluble in aromatic hydrocarbons. Varcum® 29317 is suitable for use in nitrile rubber solvent cements and high density snagging grinding wheels.
