Vyncolit® X6952 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a phenolic novolac resin reinforced with short glass fiber. It does not contain perfluorooctansulfonate (PFOS). Exhibits superior mechanical properties including tensile strength, flexural strength and strains. Offers highest impact strength and excellent retention of mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Suitable for processing by compression, injection and transfer molding. Designed for automotive components in aggressive environment such as in lubrication systems. It used to produce the valves block housing of a dual-clutch transmission. Applicable for cooling system in electrical water-pump cover for BMW NG6, vacuum pump vanes and air intake rotor of the first variable intake manifold developped for BMW. Vyncolit® X6952 conforms to REACH/SVHC, European Directive 2006/122/EC and RoHS2 (2011/65/EU).
