SYNPOL L-9 by Synpol is a butylated phenolic formaldehyde (PF) resin. Offers good toughness & flexibility, good chemical- acid- and alkali resistance. It is soluble in n-butanol. Suitable for polyvinyl butyral and alkyd resins for etch primers, adhesives, insulating varnishes and wire enamels. SYNPOL L-9 is designed for use as a curing agent for epoxy based coatings for drums, collapsible tubes used in food, drugs and cosmetic products.
