Millathane® 97

Millathane® 97 is a peroxide-curable millable polyether polyurethane (PU) rubber grade by TSE Industries. It contains reinforcing fillers (e.g. fumed silica for transparent compounds) along with peroxide curatives. Offers excellent wear properties, high coefficient of friction, colorability, very good UV stability and exceptional clarity. Shows low temperature flexibility, wet traction, excellent transparency, good weatherability, hardness and high mechanical strength. Provides outstanding abrasion-, good chemical- and excellent hydrolysis resistance. Millathane® 97 is suitable for processing by compression, transfer or injection molding. Calendered sheets can be press-cured, rotocured or vulcanized in steam or hot air autoclaves. It is used in shoe soling and roll coverings.
