EUROPRENE® 1712 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a general purpose, emulsion styrene-butadiene (ESBR) rubber obtained by cold polymerization using a mixture of rosin acid and fatty acid soaps as emulsifiers. It is a medium bound styrene copolymer extended with aromatic oil. It is free from nitrosating agents, pre-formed nitrosamines and nitrosable substances. Exhibits good processability, excellent mechanical properties, easier incorporation of high filler loading and high molecular weight. Shows resistance to abrasion, oil and weather. Recommended for conveyor belts, hoses, mechanical goods, tyre manufacturing & retreading, and outdoor applications. EUROPRENE® 1712 complies with EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS18001 and EN ISO 9001 regulations.
