ELASTOSIL® R 401/10

ELASTOSIL® R 401/10 by Wacker is an easily pigmentable, durable, highly consistent silicone rubber. Possesses high elongation and good damping properties. It can be cured by Crosslinker E(2.4-dichlorobenzoylperoxide) and Crosslinker C1 (dicumylperoxide). Exhibits low durometer hardness, good mechanical and good processing properties. Suitable as blending component to soften ELASTOSIL® silicone rubber compounds. ELASTOSIL® R 401/10 is recommended for the manufacturing of silicone sponge articles in combination with peroxide crosslinkers. Postcured parts can be used for food contact applications and are suitable for use under the Recommendation "XV. Silicones" of the BfR and FDA § 177.2600.
