ELASTOSIL® R 401/40

ELASTOSIL® R 401/40 by Wacker is a transparent, flexible silicone rubber. It can be cured by Crosslinker E (2,4-dichlorobenzoylperoxide) and Crosslinker C1 (dicumylperoxide). ELASTOSIL® R 401/40 is suitable for extrusion applications including seals, sheet, tubing and profiles. Exhibits easy pigmentation, highly consistency and good mechanical properties. Postcured parts can be used for food contact applications and are suitable for use under the Recommendation "XV. Silicones" of the BfR and FDA § 177.2600.
