ELASTOSIL® R 401/55

ELASTOSIL® R 401/55 is a high consistency silicone rubber by Wacker. It is cured with 1.5% crosslinker E (10 min/135°C) curing agent. Exhibits good flexibility, high transparency and mechanical properties. ELASTOSIL® R 401/55 is suitable for processing by calendering, damping and seal-, sheet-, tube- & profile extrusion. Used in exhaust-pipe hangers and extruded & molded parts of automotive, seals & gaskets, water & food contact and technical applications. Meets BfR and FDA 177.2600 regulation.
