ELASTOSIL® R 490/55

ELASTOSIL® R 490/55 by Wacker is a phenyl-modified silicone rubber (PMVQ). It is cured with 2.0% E (10 min/135°C), 0.7% C1 (15 min/165°C) and 1.2% C6 (15 min/165°C) curing agents. Offers good low temperature flexibility. ELASTOSIL® R 490/55 is suitable for processing by tube- & profile extrusion and compression, transfer & injection molding. Used in cables and extruded & molded parts of automotive, seals & gaskets, water & food contact and technical applications.
