ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/40

ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/40 by Wacker is a platinum-catalyzed addition-curing, one-part silicone rubber. Offers easy demolding, dry surface, no unpleasant smell caused by peroxides and no inhibition by oxygen. Exhibits excellent transparency and good to very good mechanical properties. It is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. It is virtually insoluble in water. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/40 is recommended for architectural textiles, membranes, molded parts, technical, seals & gaskets and water contact applications. Complies with FDA regulation.
