ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/50

ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/50 by Wacker is a platinum-catalyzed addition-curing, two-part silicone rubber. It is virtually insoluble in water. Offers easy demolding, dry surface, no unpleasant smell caused by peroxides and no inhibition by oxygen. Exhibits excellent transparency and good to very good mechanical properties. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/50 is recommended for membranes, molded parts, technical and water contact applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR §177.2600 regulation.
