ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/60

ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/60 by Wacker is a platinum-catalyzed addition-curing, one-part silicone rubber. Exhibits excellent transparency and good to very good mechanical properties. Offers easy demolding, dry surface, no unpleasant smell caused by peroxides and no inhibition by oxygen. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is virtually insoluble in water. ELASTOSIL® R plus 4001/60 is recommended for ignition technologies, molded parts, membranes, automotive, molded seals & gaskets and water contact applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR §177.2600 regulation.
