3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Compound TFM 3262 by 3M is a non-free-flowing compound based on modified suspension PTFE of the 2nd generation, reinforced with 10% carbon fiber. Is suitable for processing by compression molding. 3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Compound TFM 3262 possesses high thermal stability, high dimensional stability, high surface hardness, lower deformation under load, reduced friction and wear, good chemical stability, high limiting oxygen index, very good mechanical properties and exceptional heat resistance. Exhibits excellent weldability, low molding pressure, low permeability, higher transparency, denser polymer structure (less number of voids) and provides smoother surface to machined parts. Used in seal and gasket applications in the chemical processing (CPI) and automotive industries.
