3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5041GZ by 3M is a milky-white, water-based fluoropolymer dispersion reinforced with glass bubbles. The dispersion has a solid content of 58%. The spherical hydrophobic polymer particles have an average size of 200 nm and a density of 2.2 g/ml. Is suitable for processing by coatings. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Dispersion TF 5041GZ possesses high viscosity, large operating temperature range, high stability, low settling tendency, good wetting properties, high abrasion resistance and good non-stick properties. Used in coating heavy-weight glass cloth fabrics in the architecture sector. When coating these fabrics, TF 5041GZ is usually used as an intermediate layer to achieve the desired coating compound. This makes the high viscosity of the product and its filling of special hollow glass bubbles very beneficial.
