3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2021Z by 3M is a high molecular weight PTFE powder produced by emulsion polymerization. Is processed by standard paste extrusion method at lower to medium reduction ratios (20-500:1). Shows lower extrusion pressure than 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2025Z. Exhibits excellent chemical inertness, low friction behavior, high flame retardance, exceptional temperature resistance and very good electrical properties. Provides high stretch ratio in extrudate and thus can be highly stretched without breakage. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2021Z is used in manufacture of unsintered thread sealing tapes, electrical tapes for wrapped wire and cable insulations, expanded joint sealing and middle-sized tubing with relatively high green strength. Meets ASTM D 4895 Type I, Grade 1, Class B classification.
