3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2053Z by 3M is a high molecular weight PTFE powder produced by emulsion polymerization. Is processed by standard paste extrusion method with large reduction ratio range. Provides higher extrusion pressure and green strength value than 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2071Z. Exhibits excellent chemical inertness, low friction behavior, high flame retardance, exceptional temperature resistance and very good electrical properties. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2053Z is used in manufacture of tubing and wire and cable insulations up to a reduction ratio of 1600:1. Furthermore it can be used as a binding and hydrophobic agent or additive in battery mass formulations. Meets ASTM D 4895 Type I, Grade 1, Class C classification.
