3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2073Z

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by 3M
3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2073Z by 3M is a high molecular weight PTFE powder produced by emulsion polymerization. Is processed by standard paste extrusion method with large reduction ratio range. Shows more economic paste extrusion processing because of larger usable pre-forms and offers reduced extruder load because of lower pressure level. 3M™ Dyneon™ PTFE Fine Powder TF 2073Z provides lowest extrusion pressure and reduces lubricant consumption (1 part by weight less per 100 parts by weight PTFE) compared to TF 2072Z. Exhibits excellent chemical inertness, low friction behavior, high flame retardance, exceptional temperature resistance and very good electrical properties. Is used as a valuable addition to TF 2072Z for very thin wall, smallest diameter tubing and wire and cable insulation with a maximum reduction ratio of up to 4400:1. Meets ASTM D 4895 Type I, Grade 1, Class C classification.
