3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1610 by 3M is a modified free-flowing suspension PTFE of the 2nd generation produced by suspension polymerization. Is suitable for processing by compression or isostatic molding and ram extrusion. Enables special processing technologies like deep-drawing or blow-molding. Exhibits good mold filling behavior, free-flowing properties, low content of pores, low permeation and good electrical and mechanical properties. Provides low stretch-void index, lower deformation under load and increased modulus of elasticity. 3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1610 possesses good weldability, excellent chemical inertness, low friction, good flame retardance and high temperature resistance. Recommended for shaped parts, skived films, seals and valve seats, iso-statically molded pump linings or automatic molded goods enabling applications like static seals for highly demanding pumps or sealing elements for fittings. Meets ASTM D 4894 – Type III, Grade 2 classification.
