3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1635

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by 3M
3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1635 by 3M is a modified semi-free-flowing suspension PTFE of the 2nd generation produced by suspension polymerization. It is suitable for processing by compression molding. Exhibits homogenous mold filling behavior and low molding pressure, improved particle coalescence, low permeability, and good electrical and mechanical properties. Provides dense polymer structure with reduced void content, lower deformation under load and improved flex life. Possesses good weldability, excellent chemical resistance, low friction, good flame retardance and temperature resistance. 3M™ Dyneon™ TFM™ Modified PTFE Granules TFM 1635 is recommended for the manufacturing of shaped parts and large cylinders, for skived films of > 250 µm (e.g. as linings in the chemical processing industry (CPI)), articles requiring improved flex life properties (diaphragms, bellows etc.), large compression molded sheets and iso-statically molded articles. Meets ASTM D 4894 - Type IV, Grade 2 classification.
