PA 2241 FR

PA 2241 FR by 3T Additive Manufacturing is a halogen-based flame retardant containing polyamide 12 grade used to produce parts made by plastic Additive Manufacturing (AM). Is suitable for processing in laser sintering systems. Allows fire extinguishing as during fire the inert gas halogen is released, which starves the flames of oxygen and so extinguishes them. Possesses high tensile strength, excellent mechanical properties and recyclability. Enables low-cost part production as the material is economical. Used in aviation (behind panel applications like air ducts and air outlet valves), public transport, electrical, electronic applications, building and construction applications. Passed the JAR/FAR 25 App.F Part 1 Flammability Test, FAR 25 App.F Part v Smoke Generation Test and AITM 3.0005 Toxic Gas Generation Test.
