SCHULAFORM® AF 9 by LyondellBasell is a high quality polyoxymethylene (acetal) copolymer reinforced with aramid fiber. Exhibits improved abrasion resistance, excellent low wear & friction characteristics, good impact strength, high hydrolysis resistance, high stiffness & toughness, high yield strain & relaxation. Possesses excellent sliding properties, high creep resistance, excellent rigidity & yield strength, low water absorption, excellent fatigue strength, easy processing, colorability, excellent dimensional stability and very high chemical resistance. Can be processed using injection molding. SCHULAFORM® AF 9 is recommended for automotive applications.
