SX738:CM424 by AEI Compounds is a halogen free, flame retardant, silane crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) grade. Exhibits low smoke, low fume, low toxicity and offers ease of processing with the ability to achieve a degree of crosslinking compatible with good expansion and contraction. The graft component SX738 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 generally in the ratio 95:5. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. SX738:CM424 is used in heat shrinkable tubing.
