Fluon® LH-8000 Series

Fluon® LH-8000 Series commercialized by AGC Chemicals Americas are ETFE (tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer) grades. These products have a functional group polymerized directly in to the chain backbone. Exhibit excellent adhesion to other materials and equivalent mechanical, chemical resistance, electrical & non-stick properties to conventional ETFE resins. Offer excellent processability, high transparency and low mold shrinkage. Also offers very low corrosive off-gas levels at melt processing. It can be processed using co-extrusion. These are ideal for producing multi-layer structures in a one-step process without the need for surface treatment or a separate adhesive layer. Potential applications of Fluon® LH-8000 by AGC Chemicals Americas include chemical tubing, sealing layer for LIB aluminum laminates, film for steel plate laminates, rope lighting, multi-layer monofilament, air hose, chemical bags, rubber hose mandrels, hot water hose, multilayer chemical storage containers and interlayer insulation film for electronic substrates.
