Fluon® FMX1-9494

Fluon® FMX1-9494 by AGC is a melt-processable FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) foam concentrate grade. Based on DuPont FEP (Fluorinated ethylene propylene) and supplied in cylindrical pellet form (0.125” long by 0.080” diameter). Exhibits lower dielectric constant and lower dissipation factor thus minimizing signal loss and enhancing high-speed data transmission of data cables. In addition, it is lighter in weight compared to similar constructions using a solid wall and results in reduction in FEP usage which leads to cost savings. Contains a well dispersed nucleating agent that acts as a site for foaming during the gas injection extrusion process. It can be used to manufacture thinner wall constructions such as LAN twisted pair cables. Fluon® FMX1-9494 by AGC is added (approximately 8-10%) to natural FEP.
