AKROMID® B3 GF 20 2 RM-D

AKROMID® B3 GF 20 2 RM-D is a Polyamide 6 (PA 6) grade reinforced with 20% glass fiber. Offers high toughness at low temperatures, good surface quality and easy processability. Provides 50% reduced moisture uptake, 5% lower density, better dimensional stability and lower tensile strength and stiffness than standard PA 6 grades. Possesses better acoustic behavior and superior damping properties compared with materials such as ABS and PC + ABS. Exhibits excellent heat ageing and thermal resistance along with good chemical resistance towards calcium chloride, zinc chloride, diesel, water, etc. Processed by injection molding. Recommended for interior parts in the automotive sector and in sanitary applications.
