AKROTEK® PK-HM

AKROTEK® PK-HM by Akro-Plastic is a semi-crystalline, good flow polyketone (POK) grade. It contains carbon monoxide as a co-monomer. Possesses very high elasticity, low moisture absorption and high yield strain (over 30%) compared to other semi-crystalline polymers. Exhibits high barrier properties, fast crystalline rate, good welding, short cycle times and high coefficient of fiction. Provides good resistance to wear, hydrolysis, chemical, acids and unleaded gasoline. Also provides resistance to methanol, hydraulic fluid, jet fuel, calcium chloride, sodium chloride and alcohol. It can be processed by injection molding and film extrusion. Used for protective films and industrial applications such as gear wheels, containers, valves, dowel pins, journal bearings and hoses. Also used for cable ties, distributors, snap-hooks, fuel lines, containers and filters. Suitable for gear wheels, covers, components for fuel pumps, sensors, quick connectors and wheel caps. AKROTEK® PK-HM is designed for electrical and electronic applications such as connectors, switches, fuse holders, socket-outlets and housings.
