Kepstan® 8001

Kepstan® 8001 by Arkema is a high-performance, low flow, unfilled, polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) grade. Its semi crystalline structure in solid state offers an outstanding combination of mechanical and thermal strength together with chemical and fire resistance. It offers high glass transition temperature and high degree of crystallinity, leading to the best tensile and compression strength. It is designed for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion, sheet extrusion, blow molding, calendering and thermoforming. Kepstan® 8001 possible applications include metal tube coating of automotive and transportation; connectors E natural gas distribution fittings, offshore flexible pipes, natural gas distribution pipes; monofilaments, chemical industry and general industry.
