Platamid® HX 2592 T by Arkema is a bio-based specialty thermoplastic co-polyamide grade in dried form. Provides low to medium melt viscosity and is particularly suitable for manufacturing webs, nets, mono- & multi-filaments and films by extrusion. It has 80% renewable carbon content. Offers a very good adhesion to various polar substrates (thermoplastics, thermosets, metal, natural fibers. In addition, Platamid® HX 2592 T also exhibits strong adhesion onto rigid and plasticized PVC as well as ABS, epoxy resin, PU. Possesses barrier properties against PVC plasticizer migration. Recommended for automotive interior applications. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
