XYRON™ 440Z

XYRON™ 440Z by Asahi Kasei is an unreinforced, halogen free flame retarded polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) alloy. It exhibits excellent electrical characteristics and hydrolysis resistance. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in covers of various electrical equipments including invertor cover. XYRON™ 440Z complies with UL 94 V-0 and 5VA flame rating.
