XYRON™ 540Z by Asahi Kasei is a halogen free flame retarded polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) alloy. It exhibits tracking-, hydrolysis-, acid and alkaline resistance. It offers small dimensional change under high temperature and high humidity. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in solar cell junction box. XYRON™ 540Z complies with V-0, 5VA & 5VB flame rating.
