XYRON™ 644Z by Asahi Kasei is a high heat resistant, halogen free flame retarded polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) blend. It exhibits tracking-, hydrolysis-, acid and alkaline resistance. It offers small dimensional change under high temperature and high humidity. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in solar cell junction box. XYRON™ 644Z complies with UL 94 V-0, V-1 and 5VA flame rating.
