XYRON™ CN51V by Asahi Kasei is a transparent, unfilled, halogen free flame retarded, laser weldable polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) alloy. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is used in printer housing, mechanical parts for laser beam printer (LBP) and inkjet printer (IJP). XYRON™ CN51V complies with UL 94 V-1 flame rating.
