Stat-Tech™ ST5200-8063 ESD BK by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a black colored, permanently anti-static, UV stabilized, electrically conductive polypropylene (PP) resin. Exhibits improved impact resistance and high heat resistance. Imparts electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection & electromagnetic (EMI)/radio frequency (RFI) shielding performance and minimizes generation of triboelectric charges. Provides inherent corrosion/oxidation resistance, good processability and excellent balance of conductivity, flow, dimensional stability & toughness. High-quality parts manufactured offer high strength, greater stiffness, warp resistance and superior durability. Shows less susceptibility to scratches, chipping & dents, design flexibility, part consolidation and fast cycle times. It can be processed by injection molding and can be used to fill long, thin walled parts and multiple cavity tools. Stat-Tech™ ST5200-8063 ESD BK is recommended for transportation, electrical, sensitive electronic equipment & components and healthcare/medical application such as conductive pipette tips.
