AXPOLY® r-PP51 1000

AXPOLY® r-PP51 1000 is a high performance black copolymer polypropylene grade made from recycled automotive materials. The raw material used to manufacture the grade is recovered from the non-metallic waste fraction (bits of bumpers, air vents and various underbody components) which arises from end-of-life vehicles (ELV) at Axion's Shredder Waste Advanced Processing Plant (SWAPP). Is suitable for processing by compounding and injection molding. This mixed waste fraction is processed through a sophisticated cleaning and separating plant. Is produced from 100% post-industrial raw materials and appeals to greener customers as it offers at least 80% savings in CO2 impact and reduction in carbon footprint. Allows replacement of virgin resin. Possesses good balance of strength and impact resistance, high and low temperature resistance. Is made under Axion's strict ISO9001 QC system. Used in closed-loop applications in automotive-related products, utility, construction and in wider manufacturing industries.
