Ultrasint® PA11 black by BASF is polyamide 11 powder for laser sintering. It is a bio-based (castor oil) material and is an interesting alternative to PA12. It shows high elongation at break, elasticity and high impact resistance. It possesses high ductility and toughness, so it does not splinter in most crash situations. Ultrasint® PA11 black is processable on most common LS printers. It is designed for car interior parts, bumper components, living hinges, functional prototypes & spare parts and medium-loaded series parts.
