Ultrasint® PA6 FR black

Ultrasint® PA6 FR black by BASF 3D Printing Solutions is flame retardant, polyamide 6 powder for laser sintering and powder bed fusion (PBF). It shows high modulus, high strength & rigidity, high accuracy and excellent thermal distortion stability. It ensures precise feature control, very good mechanical properties and simple surface reprocessing of 3D printed parts. Offers exceptional thermal resistance and in-particle filler technology. Suitable for prototyping and small series production in automotive, transportation, electrical/ electronics, aerospace and power bed fusion applications. Used in switchboard parts, media flow & storage parts including air ducts for buses/ aerospace and in jigs & fixtures for cables and pipes. Parts made of Ultrasint® PA6 FR black reach V-2 rating (UL 94V). Passes Flammability 12 s & 60 s vertical FAR 25.853 (a), Gas Toxicity BSS 7239 Rev A and Smoke Density (Flaming & Non-flaming mode) BSS 7238 Rev C tests.
